About Us.

Qashar (kaw-shar'): to bind, tie, or knit together physically or emotionally with love

“And it came to pass, when he [David] had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.” 1 Samuel 18:1 (JPS)

Why Qashar?

In 1 Samuel chapter 18 we read how the Holy Spirit brought David and Jonathan together in order to bring about God’s will—the enthronement of David as king of Israel. We believe God has called us to knit ourselves together with believers around the world in order to advance God’s Kingdom until Jesus is enthroned.

The Mission

We strive to meet the practical needs of the poor, the immigrant, the elderly and the children of Israel while proclaiming the hope found in Jesus.

We partner with proven ministries and individuals both Stateside and in Israel to provide practical help to Jewish communities in Israel.

Past Projects Have Included:

  • Providing food, clothing, and blankets to poor Jews and survivors of the Holocaust

  • Distributing medical equipment and supplies throughout Israel

  • Bringing 15,000 backpacks to underserved children across Israel

  • Offering spiritual support and community to those we serve

In all the ways we serve, we look for every opportunity to proclaim the Good News of the Messiah!
